Each cottage is like an independent house, with all facilities to accommodate old people, built in the traditional Kerala style of architecture with double roofing with a flat roof below and a tiled roof above to make the room cool. There are two types of Cottages, (1) Double (550 sq. ft. plinth area) and (2) Single (470 sq. ft. plinth area)
Uninterrupted supply of hot water, separate attached toilet, and bathrooms are just but some of the facilities provided in the cottages.
The cottages are built with verandas, where one can spend the mornings and evenings facing the landscaped lawns in quiet comfort. The cottages are built to provide the residents with solitude, calm, comfort, and privacy that they would desire in their retired life.
Power supply to the common building is from a reliable Solar Power System. Cottages are connected to KSEB with separate meters for each cottage. Drinking water is provided from well protected open Wells. As a reserve, there is a Rain Water Storage Tank of a capacity of 15 Lakhs Ltrs
